Pistoia Basket 2000 announced that it has extended the existing agreement with Daniele Magro. The Venetian pivot, by now an acquired Pistoiese and the third ‘pillar’ of the locker room with 133 appearances to his credit with the via Fermi club, has signed a one-year contract, thus preparing to play his fifth season in the red and white jersey.

“I’m really happy to be able to continue my adventure in Pistoia, together with Della Rosa, Saccaggi and the whole staff,” Magro said: “From a character point of view we are getting along well, technically there has been an important growth and in general I think the feeling inside the locker room is there for all to see. Our goal will be to continue the work in the wake of the good things done last season, trying to achieve equally positive results if not better. I ask the fans to come to PalaCarrara in large numbers, as happened in the playoffs, because together with them we are really hard to beat and because they represent an important motivational boost.”
