To attempt an assault on Serie A and immediate promotion, Cagliari is targeting a striker with great experience in the top flight and even abroad. He is Simone Zaza, who according to ‘Tuttosport’ could leave Torino and be tempted by the adventure in Sardinia.
Zaza, who was also on the national team’s tour for four years, is coming off a season with only 10 appearances in the granata jersey. This is also why he would be looking for a new adventure, which could be represented by Cagliari. The biggest problem is the salary. In fact, the Lucanian center forward receives 1.5 million euros per season from Torino, a sum that the island club does not intend to invest for him.
