“I would like to challenge him and Jorge Lorenzo, but Valentino Rossi is racing in a higher category.”

Former MotoGp rider Dani Pedrosa in an interview with Marca talked about his passion for four wheels, which he shares with Valentino Rossi: “I’m still learning and trying to apply the driving techniques of the car, because you notice the habits I have after so many years with motorcycles. The way I use the gas, the brake and the combination of both are the most different aspects. Also the trajectories, but when you do 20 laps you have learned them. It’s hard to change in the mind the way you accelerate and brake.”

On a possible challenge with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo on four wheels, Pedrosa is clear: “It would undoubtedly be nice, but Rossi is racing in a higher level category, against drivers with a lot of preparation and experience, who have been driving cars since they were kids, and even if you have a lot of talent to adapt, the brain is very used to doing it differently.”

As for MotoGp, the chapter seems now closed, at least as far as racing is concerned: “I could only race another Grand Prix if there is material to test and in which case the factory riders could not use it because of regulation problems, then it would make sense.”
