Good news from the Tour de France, which will restart Tuesday without any more defections.
All swabs taken on the riders’ rest day tested negative for Covid-19. And it was not so expected after the positives in recent days of Geoffrey Bouchard(Ag2r Citroen), Vegard Stake Laengen (UAE Team Emirates) and Guillaume Martin (Cofidis).
Especially in the UAE, Laengen’s case had scared everyone a bit, starting with yellow jersey teammate Tadej Pogacar, who even on Sunday put the team on a roll to gain a few seconds.
On Tuesday there is great anticipation for the GC men on the uphill finish in Megeve.
