Tour: Vingegaard falls and injures himself, but remains in yellow. Stage to Philipsen
Alpecin sprinter won the 15th stage of the Grande Boucle
Jasper Philipsen won the 15th stage of the Tour de France, the 202.5-kilometer Rodez-Carcassonne: the Alpecin sprinter, in his first career victory in the Grande Boucle, bent Wout Van Aert and Mads Pedersen in a sprint.
Jonas Vingegaard remains yellow jersey despite a very complicated day: the Dane lost teammates Roglic, who retired in the morning, and Kruijswijk, who crashed. With about 50 km to go, the race leader himself slipped, hitting his left shoulder, but then managed to rejoin the peloton.
The lead over Pogacar remains 2’22”, but now Vingegaard, whose shoulder condition is to be checked, finds himself with a weakened team.
