Alex Rins has found a new team in MotoGP

Alex Rins, left stranded by Suzuki, has found a new team: he will in fact race with Honda LCR in the next two seasons.

The Spanish rider has signed the contract that will bind him to Lucio Cecchinello’s team until the end of 2024, where he will take the place of Alex Marquez, who is destined for Ducati of the Gresini team.

“Rins is an experienced, fast, podium rider. This wealth of experience, combined with his ability to give precise advice to his technicians, will definitely help us improve our bike package, aiming to fight for more podiums,” Cecchinello said.

“Changing team and bike is a challenge, but I am ready to give 100 percent and put into practice everything I have learned during my years in MotoGP. Lucio and Honda’s trust was fundamental for me in deciding to take on this challenge. I would like to thank them for this opportunity,” Rins’ first words.
