Sassuolo, Gianluca Scamacca’s future decided
16 goals in the last championship with Sassuolo
Gianluca Scamacca is leaving Serie A. In fact, the Azzurri striker will go to play in the Premier League with the West Ham shirt.
An agreement has been found for his transfer from Sassuolo to the London club for 36 million euros plus six million in bonuses. The neroverde club will also receive 10 percent of the proceeds on any future resale.
A record sale for Sassuolo and a new major one for Scamacca, who scored 16 goals in the last Serie A championship. His name had been approached several times by Paris Saint-Germain, but in the end West Ham got the better of the deal.
The first few days of Serie A will see the incoming and outgoing soccer market still in the limelight although the games have already begun: in August, in fact, as many as four rounds will be played, since the calendar has been largely conditioned by the World Cup that will be staged in Qatar. And which, as we all know, will unfortunately not see the Italian national team at the start, having failed to qualify for the review for the second time in a row.
