Cristiano Ronaldo’s future still hangs in the balance. The Portuguese player could leave Manchester United again, after returning there only a year ago.

According to reports in the Mirror, there would now be a new option for CR7. In fact, the former Juventus player could also leave on loan, provided, however, that his deal with the Red Devils is extended from 2023 to 2024.

It is no mystery that on Cristiano Ronaldo’s trail is even Atletico Madrid, aka Real’s city rivals with whom CR7 played for nine years, winning four Champions Leagues.

Should there be no big offers, however, then Ronaldo would be forced to stay at Manchester United for at least another year and thus not play in his beloved Champions League next season.
