The European Championships in Munich are still a question mark for Marcell Jacobs.
Injury to his right great adductor could force the Olympic champion to forfeit, who has already had to pull out of the World Championships in Eugene.
To Gazzetta dello Sport, Jacobs limited himself for now to saying that “injuries are part of every athlete’s life sooner or later. It’s not the first time it’s happened to me and not even the most serious. But I have always come out of it, even winning the Olympics. What I can assure now is only that I will not give up until I am back to full physical strength and can run again as I like to do.”
