A farewell in the Reyer household

A farewell in the Reyer house: the paths of the club and the Head Coach of the women’s youth sector Andrea Da Preda have parted. The message from the club: “Umana Reyer communicates that it has terminated by mutual agreement the existing agreement with the Technical Manager of the women’s youth sector Andrea Da Preda, which closes a path of over twenty years within our club. A path made of enormous and mutual satisfactions, which began in 1999 and which has seen our club, thanks to Andrea’s work, make a great contribution to the development of women’s youth basketball in Italy, seasoned by numerous championships from the Under 15 category up to the Under 20. Therefore, a beautiful history, made up of work, successes and relationships that will last over time, comes to a close.”

Federico Casarin’s comment: “I have the pleasure to thank Andrea on behalf of the whole society and use the word Arrivederci to say goodbye to him. Beyond the many sporting successes achieved, Andrea has been of great importance to our club and our youth sector not only from a technical/professional point of view, but also from a human point of view. In fact, there are countless players who have grown and formed in both aspects during these 20 years of collaboration. For Andrea, Reyer’s doors will always remain open. Good luck!”

These are the words of Andrea Da Preda: “I would like to thank the club that in these twenty-three years has given me the opportunity to coach and work at a very high level, conquering together really important results. I arrived at Reyer Femminile at the beginning of its journey and there was certainly great emotion at the moment of saying goodbye. For my part I will always be grateful and connected to Reyer, which has been my home all these years, and I wish the club the best for its future.”
