Reyer Venezia announced on Friday the signing of center Yankuba Sima, with whom the Orogranata club effectively closes the 2022/23 roster.

Born in Girona (Spain) on July 28, 1996, the 211-cm center turned 26 yesterday. For the past two seasons he has played for Manresa and is the third player to come from Liga ACB, along with Jayson Granger and Derek Willis.

“I am excited and grateful for this opportunity,” Sima said at the presentation. “It’s a great chance to take a step forward in my career. I am looking forward to getting to know the club and my teammates. Reyer is an ambitious organization and I want to give my contribution to compete and reach important goals, in Italy and Eurocup.
