F1, Max Verstappen has a clear goal
He will start from the fifth row
In qualifying for the Hungarian GP, Red Bull was faster than in Friday’s free practice, but an engine problem in Q3 forced Max Verstappen to finish 10th.
The Dutchman commented as follows, “I haven’t talked to the team about the problem yet, I went to my room after qualifying,” Verstappen said, “I had the feeling that the engine was fine. We need to check the battery, which was not releasing power, but I think it will be okay in the race. Starting tenth is not ideal, I had found a good pace.”
“The comeback will be difficult, but everything is possible. We must always be optimistic,” Verstappen added. “It will be difficult to overtake, but so many races this year have shown that many things can happen. We have to keep calm and focused, hoping not to lose too many points. The goal is always to win the race.”
