Lewis Hamilton enjoys his podium finish in Hungary, behind only Max Verstappen: “I suffered a lot in the first part of the race, but I managed to feel comfortable slowly.”

“I didn’t have the pace of the others, but we never gave up,” stressed the British Mercedes driver. “We go to the podium with two cars in two consecutive races, it’s great to get to the break like this.

The goal now is to do even better, and the message to arch-rival Red Bull is clear: “We hope to grow further to fight with those in front of us.”

“When it gets colder our car works better, I was hoping it might rain at the end. During the summer break I will train and try to regain my concentration,” Hamilton concluded.
