Two ties in the Sunday postponements of the third day of Serie A.
At the Franchi, Spalletti’s Napoli did not go beyond a 0-0 draw against a Fiorentina back from Conference League exertions. The best goal chance of the match happened on Lozano’s head in the second half. The entries of Raspadori, Simeone and Ndombele for Soaletti were useless.
Instead, it ended 1-1 at the Via del Mare between Lecce and Empoli, with the Salentini thus getting at least their first point in the league, thus detaching the other two newly promoted teams, Cremona and Monza, still desolately at zero.
Taking the lead were the Tuscans with Parisi’s goal in the 22nd minute, but before halftime Strefezza (40′) evened the score.
