Franco Agamenone’s anger explodes: ‘Pathetic’

Through his Twitter profile, Franco Agamenone vented his anger. The tennis player deemed the volume of music inside the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center excessively loud: “Tennis tournament or concert? Under these conditions, one has played for access to the main draw of the US Open. Pathetic!”

Responding to a user’s comment, Agamenone relaunched, “Another demonstration that, except for a couple of players, the ATP doesn’t give a damn about us.”

Roger Federer in 2017 had already raised the issue: “The sound returns to the court as much as the point is not finished. Because of the noise I was arriving late, misjudging the distances, in short I was in an unusual situation,” he had said at the end of the match against Frances Tiafoe.
