Lewis Hamilton has already forgotten Spa
Lewis Hamilton’s words
Lewis Hamilton spoke after Friday’s free practice in Holland: “It’s much better than my Sunday, and it’s much better than last week’s Friday. It was a promising start to the weekend. The car definitely performs better on a different track, and we are still working. We are not that far behind, which is a good thing, and the car is not that bad. So, we just have to keep making progress. There’s probably not much more in terms of performance to extract, but we’ll keep pushing.”
“Better than Spa, that’s for sure comparing today to last week. The car is working better. There is no doubt about it. It will be a close race. We know that qualifying is still our weak point. The race will come to us. I think our pace is strong, but you have to start in the right position. It will be difficult to fight for the front row. There were some problems with the F1 timing screen data. We could not figure out what our pace is in the long run, but we will work on it tonight and collect a lot of data. I think we are in a relatively good position.”
