Marc Marquez lashes out at haters. But even Zarco doesn’t forgive him
Honda rider Marc Marquez overwhelmed by criticism: “The only thing to do is to ignore them”
Rain of criticism for Marc Marquez after the chaotic first lap of the Aragon Grand Prix, where he was involved in two incidents in which Quartararo and Nakagami ended up on the ground. The Catalan rider after apologizing to those involved then dismissed haters on social media in this way: “Haters always win. The only thing to do is just ignore them. I know what happened, I’ve been in MotoGP for ten years and I know what can be done and what can’t be done….”
Also criticizing the eight-time world champion, however, was Johann Zarco: “He caused chaos on the first lap and I’m not happy to say that, because Marc is a rider I like. At the start at Turn 3 he went all right to prepare for the next left turn, I had to slow down to avoid hitting Fabio Quartararo. Then with Nakagami Marc went too far. I like his style and on Thursday I said he would be very strong here, but when you have a problem on the bike you shouldn’t ride like that.”
