F1, Yuki Tsunoda now feeling better
In recent days, AlphaTauri announced that Yuki Tsunoda will also be part of the team in 2023, a communication that obviously reassured the driver: “I was focusing on helping the team as much as possible but surely this announcement helps me. Undoubtedly it is better to have clarified the matter, I will race with a clearer mind,” he told Tauri Talk.
Franz Tost added, “As we have seen since he joined us last year, Yuki is a very talented driver and he has improved a lot this season. The pace he has shown recently is a testament to his steep learning curve and shows that he deserves a place in F1. I still expect important results from him in these last six races of 2022.”
“As I have always maintained, a driver needs at least three years to familiarize himself with Formula 1, so I am glad he has been given the time he needs to show his potential. It also confirms how Dr. Marko and his young driver program grows these young talents in the junior categories. I would like to join Yuki in thanking Red Bull, AlphaTauri and Honda for their continued support and for allowing him to stay with us for another year.”
