MotoGp, Luca Marini exceeds 100
Luca Marini exceeds 100
A difficult weekend but finished well for Luca Marini at the Motegi circuit in the Japanese Grand Prix. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider, in fact, finished the race in sixth place, starting from tenth position. Luca made a strong start immediately, and thanks to an excellent pace kept during the race, he played the fifth place until the finish line, cut in sixth position. With this result Marini reaches 101 points in the overall standings, confirming the twelfth place.
These are his words at the end of the race: “I am very satisfied with my race pace, especially in the laps where I was alone. I made some good lines and was able to go strong. Unfortunately, I was starting a little behind, so it was difficult to aim for the podium. In the very first few laps, I got stuck behind the riders who had the average which gave them a small advantage in the beginning. I then kept my pace and I am happy with the way I lapped and managed the GP, a little less than the position overall.”
