Roma, Jose Mourinho dreams of making a second Triplete
“Making the Triplete again? I will try with all my might,” said the Giallorossi coach.
Roma coach Jose Mourinho indulged in an interview with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ in which he recounted his feelings before the big match against Inter, a team in which he coached from 2008 to 2010 and with which he won the ‘Triplete,’ writing an indelible page of history for the Milanese club.
The coach commented on the rivalry between the Giallorossi and the Nerazzurri: “Milan and Rome are the two nerve centers of Italy, I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to live in both cities. All these stadiums evoke very beautiful and intense memories for me, after all, each one holds important pages of my career. I don’t mind the rivalry between Roma and Inter, I have lived in other cities where there was a strong rivalry between two or even more clubs.”
Mourinho added, “For me it is impossible to choose the best, each success is special and each trophy is unique in its own way. Making the Triplete again? I will try with all my heart even with the Giallorossi, my will to win will never go away.”
The Portuguese continued with a thought about Totti: “Francesco has always been and will always be a symbol of Roma, whatever happens and regardless of what he decides to do with his life.”
“I don’t think I am the best coach in the world, but I think no one in the world is better than me,” the ‘Special one’ concluded.
