Italians star in the last fraction of the CRO Race

Day to remember for the Italian colors at the CRO Race, the Tour of Croatia. In the last stage, in fact, Elia Viviani (Ineos-Grenadiers) took the victory beating in a sprint Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Victorious), winner of the general classification, and Vincenzo Albanese (Eolo-Kometa).

Mohoric took part in the sprint to gain the necessary bonuses to overtake Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) at the last breath, a mission accomplished also thanks to the help of Jonathan Milan. The Friulian, in fact, assisted him in the last kilometers, perfectly following the strategy indicated by sports director Gorazd Stangej, and in turn was able to celebrate a success: the one in the points classification that earned him the blue jersey.
