Mario Balotelli, series B hypothesis gains momentum
Sion striker could return to Serie B
Mario Balotelli is coming off a disappointing start to the season with the Swiss club Sion. The former Inter and AC Milan striker, among others, has collected only four appearances in his first league games.
Due to SuperMario’s difficulties with the Swiss club, some Serie B clubs are closely watching the situation related to the Italian striker.
In the last few days, in fact, the hypothesis of Balotelli’s return to the cadet league, where he has already worn the jerseys of Brescia and Monza, before moving to Turkey, to Adana Demirspor, is gaining momentum.
Among the clubs that, more than others, would have set their eyes on the 1990 class is Fabio Cannavaro’s Benevento, who took the place of the exonerated Fabio Caserta.
The Campania side attaulmente is in 15th place in the Serie B standings, with only four goals to its credit, and could be thinking about a heavy reinforcement in attack, ahead of the January market.
