F1, Red Bull: Christian Horner unabashed on budget cap case

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, in the press conference after the Singapore Grand Prix, won by Mexico’s Sergio Perez, spoke about the budget cap case.

“I am absolutely convinced that Red Bull was below the budget cap,” the British executive began, at the end of a weekend where world champion Max Verstappen struggled, finishing seventh.

“We believe we are within the cap. The FIA is following its procedure and we expect to know this week, not just us, but all the teams, the outcome of this process,” continued Christian Horner.

The FIA report is expected on Wednesday, October 5, and will cover not only Red Bull, but also Aston Martin.
