Next Gen ATP Finals: Musetti qualified, 5 more baby blues in the running
Lorenzo Musetti certain to participate in Milan tournament for second year in a row
Lorenzo Musetti is certain to qualify for the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals 2022, scheduled to take place in Milan at the Allianz Cloud from Nov. 8-12. The Carrara tennis player will participate for the second year in a row in the tournament that will pit the world’s top eight Under-21 players against each other.
Musetti is currently third in the Pepperstone ATP Live Race To Milan behind Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner (who will not participate in the event). In fourth place is Holger Rune of Denmark. In the running for the other positions are five other Italian tennis players.
Leading them is Francesco Passaro (No. 9), who will be involved in the ATP Challenger in Parma this week along with Flavio Cobolli (No. 15) and Giulio Zeppieri (No. 13). Also in the running are Matteo Arnaldi (number 14) and Luca Nardi, who climbed to 11th after his first win on the Atp circuit in Astana against Russian Shevchenko.
