MotoGp, Yamaha in crisis: Crutchlow brings up Marc Marquez
Yamaha centaur cites the ‘Marquez effect’: “Other brand riders are not as fast as Quartararo”
Yamaha and Honda dominated by Ducati in recent GPs: according to Cal Crutchlow, the two Japanese teams’ crises are similar. The British Yamaha rider brings up the ‘Marquez effect,’ which the Iwata stable is also paying dearly for: “What we are seeing in Yamaha is the ‘Marquez effect’: the other Yamaha riders are not as fast as Fabio Quartararo, although I don’t think they are doing a bad job.”
“Quartararo simply does an incredible job. The bike lacks power, so you have to squeeze it to compensate for that lack. What Fabio does with the bike is very special in that sense.”
