Virtus Bologna, Iffe Lundberg and first impressions with Sergio Scariolo
Nba’s first impression with Sergio Scariolo
Virtus Bologna’s newly acquired Iffe Lundberg spoke, interviewed by ‘Il Corriere di Bologna,’ about his new adventure in Italy, with a look at the path ahead for the Felsinei in the Euroleague.
“The most banal thing to say is that victories are needed. You will have to play with fierce desire and desire, you cannot allow yourself even one night of downturn. You cannot relax becauseè you always play against the best teams and players, everyone is fighting for a place among the top eight, they will be real battles and no one will make life easy for you,” the Danish point guard began.
He continued the former Nba player, talking about his first impressions with coach Scariolo: “Scariolo told me things I really appreciated, talking to me about the project, ambitions, visions and how I can help the team. I also shared with him my point of view and heard very good things about how the team plays. Then there are the fans.”
Finally, Lundberg wanted to emphasize the strengths of the Black Vu: “Balance. We have a lot of weapons at our disposal, between experienced players and young people who have not yet played at this level but have the hunger to compete. Everything gives us energy, that’s our strength.”
