Giro di Lombardia bitter for Domenico Pozzovivo. The Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert cyclist was forced to retire after a bad crash on a descent during the last Classica of the year.
Pozzovivo, who went into a small wall to the left of the road, was caught on camera holding his left arm, with his suit torn in several places and several grazes: he was forced to retire. Bad crashes during the race also for Mikel Nieve, Lorenzo Fortunato.
