Milan wins the big match against Juventus: Tomori and Brahim Diaz send the Rossoneri flying
Tomori and Brahim Diaz keep Pioli’s Milan flying.
Milan won the big match of the ninth day against Juventus. The Rossoneri went ahead in the first half recovery through Tomori and doubled through Brahim Diaz.
Substantially balanced first half between Pioli’s and Allegri’s men. Juventus started off strong, with Cuadrado going close to scoring after a few minutes, but then Leao took the lead: the Portuguese first hit a post with a backheel, and after a few minutes a great conclusion, also by the Milan number 17, shattered on the woodwork of the goal defended by Szczesny. In the midst of the recovery Tomori manages to control a ball in the penalty area, on the development of a corner kick, and to turn and beat the Polish goalkeeper.
The first minutes of the second half definitively directed the match: in the 54th Brahim Diaz intercepted a pass from Vlahovic, sowed everyone and beat the HCL extreme defender. Juventus took the blow and failed to create great chances, except for Kean, who, on a suggestion from Milik, managed to kick toward the Rossoneri goalkeeper but was decisively bricked by Kalulu. The result does not change and Milan, also thanks to the new entrants, maintains the result, winning three points that take the Diavolo to first place in conjunction with Napoli, which will play on Sunday, Oct. 9, against Cremonese.
