Honda centaur Marc Marquez tries to raise the bar three races after returning to the track. The Catalan rider ahead of the Australian Grand Prix feels he is growing: “My condition is improving day by day, and after three races in a row, the week off was really welcome. We will see what will be possible.”

On Phillip Island: “A fantastic circuit, very different from any other track on the calendar. I’ve had some memorable races here and there have always been some good battles. We’ll have to be careful about the weather, especially this year it could be cold and windy.”

Teammate Pol Espargarò: “I got my best career win in Moto2 here, the track is really unique and so many riders will do battle. The last races have not been easy, but this track is very different, let’s see what we can do.”
