Former Roma bomber has no doubts about Tammy Abraham’s qualities

Roberto Pruzzo, Roma striker from 1978 to 1988 with whom he scored more than 100 goals and won a historic Scudetto in the 1982/83 season, indulged in an interview with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ where he spoke about the situation of current Giallorossi striker Tammy Abraham. The Englishman, who has scored only two goals and provided as many assists to his teammates in nine appearances this season, has ended up at the center of numerous criticisms and Pruzzo wanted to express his opinion on the striker’s qualities.

Pruzzo stated, “Abraham and Belotti together? I did it in my time with Graziani and Voeller, so I really think they can do it too. I don’t think Abraham has suffered psychologically from Belotti’s arrival. The Englishman is very strong, it’s just a matter of moments. As soon as he gets unstuck he will be back to scoring goals consistently.”

“The team creates chances, but then misses too much near the goal. In the end there is a risk of paying for it,” he concluded.
