Alessandro Mannini remembers Enrico Cannata
Alessandro Mannini, former Pisa goalkeeper, fondly remembered Enrico Cannata, his comrade in the Nerazzurri who sadly passed away Tuesday after a long illness.
“There goes a very good person, he was an exquisite guy, a perfect friend,” Mannini recalls when interviewed by ‘La Nazione.’ “I am so sorry because he was my teammate in my Nerazzurri beginnings and I have great memories of him. Every now and then we would also meet for some event reminiscent of our Nerazzurri life. This is very bad news.”
Born in 1953, once he hung up his boots Cannata always remained in the world of soccer as a coach with a great passion for youth soccer.
