MotoGp, Yamaha: Fabio Quartararo makes mea culpa after free practice
French centaur makes mea culpa
Reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo spoke at the end of the second free practice session ahead of the Philip Island Grand Prix, in which he set the fourth fastest time after placing 12th at the end of the first session.
“It went pretty well, but this morning was difficult. I was able to set a good pace considering the track conditions. This afternoon the track was in better condition, but I made a mistake on my fast lap, so I’m pretty happy to still be in the top five. We have some things to try tomorrow to improve our feeling, and I feel like we still have some margin to improve our pace, especially in sector 1,” explained the Yamaha centaur, the leader of the championship standings, in the words reported by ‘FormulaPassion’.
“This track is different from the others. Usually we keep the setting of the bike more or less the same, but here we have made some changes and for tomorrow we will also make some changes. But our pace is already pretty good and there are some points where I think I can overtake, so it should be a good track for us. Our potential is good,” continued, confidently, the French driver.
