Lorenzo Musetti’s adventure at the UniCredit Firenze Open comes to an end.
The 20-year-old from Carrara was eliminated by Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-2 6-3. In spurts the host played sensational tennis, but it was not enough against the very solid Canadian, who by playing the important points well showed experience, character, and mental solidity as a top-ranked player.
In Sunday’s final Felix Auger-Aliassime, world number 13, will meet U.S. J. J. Wolf number 75.
