Cantù, for Meo Sacchetti so not enough
Sacchetti’s words post Cremona-Cantù
Cantù coach Meo Sacchetti made some statements at the end of the game between Cremona and Cantù, valid for the third day of Serie A2, won by the Cremonese team 65-54.
The coach of the biancoblù expressed himself as follows, “We missed plays that are normally baskets for our players. The game immediately got very bad for us, with an important partial against us. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy here in Cremona, although in the second half we managed to sew it up and come back down to within five points. At that point we made too many mistakes and they ran away with ease.
“We still have to improve a lot and be better at reading situations. Tonight our game focused a lot on Nikolic’s streak under the basket, but that can’t be enough. We still have to improve in the open game. Next Sunday we will immediately meet another top-ranked opponent like Treviglio, another important test,” Sacchetti concluded.
