Only one club fined in A: Varese

Little work for the Giudice Sportivo (sports judge) after the third round of the A Series basketball championship. In the crosshairs only one club, Openjobmetis Varese, was fined 450.00 euros for collective and sporadic offenses against referees and received a warning for failure of mandatory equipment. Bad day for the red and white, who were defeated by Trento at Masnago.

Sixteen teams are participating in the men’s top league. Olimpia Milano, which has full points like Virtus Bologna and Tortona, holds the title of Italian champions, and the two newly promoted teams are Scafati, which is still on 0 points after three games, and Verona. Lombardy (Olimpia, Brescia and Varese) and Veneto (Treviso, Venice and Verona) are the most represented regions.
