Marc Marquez revealed a backstory of his beginnings in MotoGp

Honda rider Marc Marquez in an interview with MotoGp.com revealed a backstory of his beginnings in the premier class of MotoGP: “When I started I had Casey’s data and copied his style to deal with Phillip Island. In this type of corner it is one of my strengths, as it was for him.”

“But now, with the current bikes, with this aerodynamics and the flaps behind, I have to ride differently. The behavior of the bike is different. I also talked about it with Casey,” continued the eight-time world champion, who finished second in the Australian Grand Prix.

After six titles won by Valentino Rossi in eight years it was the Spanish riders who took the lion’s share of the MotoGp world championship. From 2012 to 2020 only they have won, with Jorge Lorenzo a two-time world champion, Marc Marquez (6) and Joan Mir, triumphant in 2020 with his Suzuki.
