“I can’t compare with Marc Marquez, I haven’t received updates for a long time”: the Honda rider’s outburst

Honda centaur Pol Espargaró expressed all his frustration ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend in Sepang. The Honda rider has not hit the top ten since Portimao, while his teammate Marc Marquez after returning has won important placings and a podium in Australia.

“I’ve been struggling for a long time and haven’t found anything to improve my feeling. I need new things and I have never had any and I won’t have any now. Marc Marquez? He uses a different frame, fairing, swingarm than mine, then Marc is Marc. You can’t compare even with the same package, but now we are in different worlds. I can’t help him in any way, they don’t let me try things…. By doing that Marquez will be fast, but not the other riders.”
