Genoa, crazy idea from Juventus for the summer: fans dream
Grifone fans dream
Among the ideas that most tickle the fancy of Genoa fans is one in particular, which points in the direction of Turin, more specifically Juventus.
The Rossoblù club is fresh off a good start in Serie B, where it currently occupies fifth place in the standings, but coach Alexander Blessin hopes to aim even more strongly for a rise to Serie A ahead of next season.
To please him, the directors of the Genoese club, are continuing to keep the market of free agents and others monitored and are also reasoning in view of the summer soccer market, when it is hoped that promotion will no longer be just a mirage.
In the case of immediate ascent to the top flight, Genoa could target a big shot from Juventus for the defense: the name is that of Juan Cuadrado, who is due to expire with the Bianconeri club in June 2023 and could try to free himself in order not to risk being relegated to the bench and to continue playing with continuity. It is clear that to try to get to the Colombian, promotion to Serie A would be a prerequisite.
The former Fiorentina and Lecce extern, among others, is in his eighth season in bianconero, in which he won five championships, four Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups.
