MotoGp, Luca Marini: “There is a lack of choice ahead of the race.”
The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider set the tenth fastest time in FP2
Luca Marini spoke to the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team at the end of the second free practice session at the Sepang circuit ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The 1997-born rider set the tenth fastest time (2′ 09″ 825) in FP2, closing the combined standings in ninth place, with teammate Marco Bezzecchi behind him.
“A good Friday: we lapped in both dry and wet conditions and this is good considering that we are in Malaysia, a country of sudden weather changes. I feel strong in both conditions although I can still improve in a few places. We work on the electronics to make the bike run better and hope for good weather tomorrow. The choice on the tire for the race is still open and we need to do kilometers in the dry to decide,” said a satisfied Luca Marini, back from sixth place in Phillip Island.
