Inter, Lukaku returns: Inzaghi’s moves in attack

Big Rom has been absent since last Aug. 26

In this (troubled) start of the season, Lukaku has played only three games, scoring one goal. In fact, he has not played any matches in the group stage of the Champions League. He has been out since last Aug. 26 when he was injured in the match with Lazio.

Next October 26, Inter-Viktoria Plzen is scheduled at the San Siro and, barring unforeseen circumstances, Big Rom will be among the summoned players. Inzaghi, therefore, gets back his prince striker but will now have to find a way to reintegrate him at his best.

In recent outings, Lautaro Martinez has taken the team on his shoulders and, with both Dzeko and Correa, played divinely. Now it will be up to Inzaghi to recreate the right chemistry between the Argentine and the Belgian for Inter’s sake. Against Viktoria Plzen, the Nerazzurri will play for a pass to the Champions League round of 16.
