Good news for Nico Gonzalez
Nico Gonzalez, who was injured in Saturday night’s early match between Fiorentina and Inter, a match later won by the Nerazzurri in an incredible 4-3 final, did not suffer any muscle injury.
This was announced by Fiorentina in an official note: “ACF Fiorentina announces that the footballer Nico Gonzalez, yesterday evening, underwent diagnostic tests that ruled out muscular-tendon injuries to the districts analyzed. The player will be re-evaluated over the next few days.”
Recovery timeframes have not been disclosed by the purple club but the hope is that the Argentine footballer will be able to return before the World Cup stoppage in Qatar, which is not at risk for Gonzalez.
