Novak Djokovic is back to talk about his troubled 2022

Novak Djokovic returned to talk about his troubled 2022 in an interview with Tennis Majors. The former world number one was forced to miss several tournaments this year, including the Australian Open and Us Open, for refusing to vaccinate: “A lot of masks fell off because of the way some people treated me. I learned a lot from that.”

For Melbourne, the rumors are positive: “In Australia I always played my best tennis, positive news is coming in but there is nothing official yet about my participation.”

On the Atp ranking and Alcaraz’s primacy: “He is first and therefore he is the best, then it is true that in my case I played fewer tournaments, besides that Wimbledon did not award points. But it is good for tennis that someone so young was able to get this record, I am sure Nadal will try to surpass him.”
