Sports judge punishes Vado for a very peculiar incident

The Sports Judge of Serie D has punished Vado, a club that plays in the Group A of the fourth series, with a fine of 1,000 euros following a very peculiar episode, described in the statement released by the National Amateur League.

The match in question was that of Sunday, October 23, which Vado lost 4-2 to Ligorna at the ‘Ferruccio Chittolina’ stadium. The Ligurian club, which just this year celebrates the centenary of the historic victory in the Coppa Italia, was in fact fined “For having spread through the loudspeaker of the stadium an insulting expression towards the referee and for having its own supporters address insults to the referee at the end of the match.”

Vado currently occupies third place in the standings of Group A: with the internal knockout, the red and blue have lost ground from first place – occupied by Sestri Levante – 5 points away after 10 days of the championship.
