Inter, Skriniar renewal: Beppe Marotta peremptory
Beppe Marotta has no doubts about Milan Skriniar’s renewal
On the sidelines of the Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen, Beppe Marotta spoke to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’, also dwelling during the interview on the issue related to Milan Skriniar’s renewal, confirming that the path in the Champions League will not condition the negotiations.
“They are two separate things,” said the Nerazzurri executive. “The obligation is to sit down to negotiate, first of all because he deserves it and because he is a professional: we hope he can become a reference point, of the present and the future. Decisions then are made in two. I am optimistic, I hope we can reach a definition as soon as possible of an important extension.”
Skriniar, 27, arrived at Inter in 2017 after a season at Sampdoria. In recent soccer sessions he has been approached by clubs such as former Inter coach Antonio Conte’s Tottenham and, more recently, Paris Saint-Germani.
