Phaedra Theffo never ceases to amaze

Phaedra Theffo has struck again. The rider from Sarnico (BG) participated in the 2T Italian GP Championship riding a Honda 125GP of the BBM Racing Team, achieving an excellent third place finish. Rewarded by consistency, Theffo redeemed herself after the previous year’s bad luck in which she broke her collarbone at the first race, immediately compromising the entire season. This year there were 6 rounds of the 2T Italian GP Championship, held within the CIV CLASSIC, a double race in Vallelunga and then all single races in Varano, Cremona, Magione and Misano. Thanks to the various podiums, a little bit of luck and a team that was always perfect in tuning and teaching, Phaedra managed to win the points for the final third place in the championship: a great satisfaction for her, the only woman in her category. Winning the championship was her teammate, Andrea Bertelli, who had been leading from the first race.

“For me to have raced on this bike that I consider the racing bike par excellence has already been indescribable,” said Phaedra. “To see Vallelunga, my favorite track, again after years, to return to Varano after an injury, to discover Cremona that I had never seen, to improve something with each race and to learn how to tune the bike according to my riding: it was really a wonderful season. My team has been really perfect at every race, the bike has always gone really strong and I couldn’t ask for better. Let’s say that third place in the championship rewards us in terms of the work done while I still have to improve a lot! I sincerely thank my mechanics and the whole BBM RACING team for this fantastic season! I thank the Lucky Racing team and my mom for the support, I thank Fabio Frattini and I thank Stylmartin who provided me with the boots. I also thank the organizers of this fantastic championship and all the friends in the paddock. See you on the track in 2023!”
