Casini speaks on the Assago tragedy
Lorenzo Casini, president of Lega Serie A, spoke on the tragic incident in Assago in which a Carrefour employee lost his life and a number of people were injured, including Pablo Marì, a Spanish defender on loan from Arsenal, Monza.
“The crazy attack that happened in a shopping center near Milan leaves us dismayed, while waiting for certain news I express the most sincere condolences to the family of the victim and the utmost closeness of the world of soccer to the other injured, including a Monza footballer,” Casini said.
The attacker, a 46-year-old man, was apprehended by Carabinieri.
