January proposal pops up for Juan Cuadrado
Juan Cuadrado has more than one option
Among the most nervous in the Juventus household is Juan Cuadrado, and this was also seen in Lisbon, where, on the occasion of the disappointing Bianconeri performance against Benfica, in addition to causing an avoidable penalty kick, the Colombian was the protagonist of a heated verbal clash with another of the negative protagonists of the evening, Leonardo Bonucci.
The 1988-class lateral is bound until June 2023 to the Old Lady, but the hypothesis of a contract extension at the moment seems implausible and here is that more than one club has been raising its antennae for a zero-cost swoop. Above all Genoa, which is counting on returning to Serie A after just one year of purgatory but is also aware of interest from Roma, with Jose Mourinho having already had the player at Chelsea.
Disrupting the Ligurians’ (and the Capitolini’s) plans, however, could be Fiorentina. Which could play ahead and knock on Cuadrado and Juventus’ door as early as January.
