Dinamo Sassari, Piero Bucchi spurred by challenge against Virtus Bologna
“I don’t know if the lineup will be the same as in Madrid,” Bucchi said.
Dinamo Sassari coach Piero Bucchi spoke in the press conference on the eve of the challenge to Sergio Scariolo’s Virtus Bologna, fresh off a great Euroleague victory on Real Madrid’s parquet.
“We are playing against a team that played a good game against Real, so challenging challenge. We worked well during the week and we come ready. I don’t know if Virtus’ lineup in Madrid will be the same against us, however, they can always field a very good team. We want to play a good game, the field will give the answers,” explained the coach of the White and Blue team.
“The game against Trent bodes well, because we played against a solid team. We played a thick game. We are working daily to look for new balances even with different set-ups. I must say that there is good willingness, Sunday’s game I hope showed the right way to everyone. We are still not perfect, but if the desire and intensity is the same as on Sunday then we can take satisfaction,” Bucchi continued.
“We are always looking for the best set-ups. Some indications I had clear already from the challenge against Trento. Yesterday I was talking to Robinson: they had a few weeks of injury and ended yesterday the real work of a month on their legs. That says a lot, because we with a normal roster, we need everyone to be well. The team mentally is fine, only Treier and Dowe are still out. As for the available players, we work during the week with intensity and look for answers from ourselves to find continuity,” then concluded the former coach of Cantù and Milan among others.
