MotoGp: Jarvis still believes in it and stings Pecco Bagnaia and Valentino Rossi
Yamaha team manager Lin Jarvis evokes 2006 and Nicky Hayden: “Even that year it seemed all over.”
Yamaha team manager Lin Jarvis has not yet given up hope for the MotoGp World Championship. In Valencia, two points are enough for Pecco Bagnaia to become world champion, but Fabio Quartararo is still in the game and “anything can happen.”
“We are still in the game,” he told the MotoGp website, “We have to be happy and try, you never know. It’s clear that we have to win the race, it’s not easy and we might be unlucky.”
Jarvis recalled the 2006 World Championship: “Anything can happen, I remember going to Valencia in 2006 with Valentino Rossi, Vale was favored but he crashed and Nicky Hayden saw the title. Valencia is a difficult circuit, anything can happen.”
Jarvis then praised Quartararo for what he showed at Sepang: “To be 12th and finish third is something, but to do that when you have a broken finger is impressive. I think this will give him confidence for the last race.”
