Paolo Galbiati identifies Treviso’s number one danger
Pallacanestro Varese assistant coach Paolo Galbiati spoke about the challenge awaiting the Lombard team, which will be engaged against Treviso on the fifth day of the championship.
“We finally return to play in our home with the goal of giving a smile to our wonderful fans who have supported us so much in the last two games played between our home walls. We face Treviso, which is a lineup composed of experienced players and young up-and-comers; it is a dangerous team despite a complicated start due also to a difficult schedule, but we want to continue to impose our basketball and our game. We must continue to improve our defensive approach to the game because the more we defend, the more we can run in the open court and entertain our audience with baskets that gas. We are working on it during the week, with the guys who are working really hard with harmony and a great desire to sacrifice and be together. Hopefully we can put on a good performance,” said the White and Red staff member.
Then Galbiati identified the most dangerous opponents, “Their biggest dangers? Definitely Adrian Banks, a veteran of our league, an incredible scorer capable of lighting up from one moment to the next. Then there is Sokolowski, a well-established player who can count on so many weapons, and a deep and varied long package with physicality, pounds and athleticism. We will have to be good at challenging them with our weapons.”
